There are a lot of things to like about being a recruitment consultant, including the opportunity to meet and deal with new people, the schedule, the diversity of assignments, and the not-so-demanding entrance requirements, among others. However, what really makes the role truly likeable and rewarding is that it opens up a lot of opportunities such as literally changing other people’s lives, having a lasting impact on the bottom line and productivity of a business, and bringing satisfaction to both job seekers and companies. These experiences are invaluable.
Because we are in the business of building relationships with companies and helping place job seekers into entry-level roles, you will find that there is a stream of activities to do. For instance, a typical day may involve making business development calls to prospective clients, discussing the requirements of an existing client, developing a recruitment solution, and reviewing applications and arranging initial interviews with candidates. Tasks tend to vary per day, but most of them are focused on developing partnerships with companies and assisting both candidates and clients.
The schedule of work usually covers the hours of 10am to 7pm, but longer hours may be necessary, especially if there are deadlines to meet or a lot of work needs to be done. As for the work environment, there is a stream of tasks, usually assigned by a supervisor. We work on small teams, so we are tight-knit and support is good.
Aside from providing a competitive salary, we also give lenient leaves and other incentives. All these will be discussed in detail if you are chosen to become a part of our recruitment consulting team.
As soon as we receive your application, we will thoroughly review your CV to know if your qualifications and skills are a good fit for the role. If your application makes the cut, one of our consultants will contact you for an initial interview before arranging another interview with our hiring managers. Whether you are successful or not in the series of interviews, we will notify you of the result and provide you feedback.
We know that the ability of our recruitment consultants to provide quality services to job seekers and companies depends on their skills. As such, to make sure that you will be able to do well on the job, we will provide training to support your knowledge and skills acquisition. You will also be coached by your supervisor and senior recruitment consultants, so you can easily adapt to our process and practices.
